Itinerary

Day 1

Uyuni Salt Flats, San Juan.

  • Private transfer from the lodging place in Uyuni or from La Joya International Airport.
  • Stop at the train cemetery and arrive to Colchani, visit to the salt processing plant and teaching of the extraction methods.
  • Travel to Incahuasi Island, a place known for its peculiar landscape shaped by giant cactuses and volcanic rocks.
  • Visit of the Pre-Columbian Pucará de Ayque Fort and the chullpares, close to the Tunupa volcano.
  • Arrival to Magia de San Juan Hotel.

Includes: lodging, lunch and dinner.

Day 2

San Juan, Eduardo Abaroa Reserve, Villamar.

  • Travel to Eduardo Abaroa Reserve.
  • Visit to Colorful Lagoon (located at 4.278 meters above sea level), where the famous pink flamingos are found.
  • Walk through “Sol de Mañana” geysers, passing by the Challviri Lagoon and the Polques hot springs.
  • Crossing through Pampas de Dalí desert and arrival at the Green Lagoon.
  • Travel to Villamar and accommodation at the Mallku Cueva Hotel.

Day 3

Villamar, Alota, Uyuni.

  • Visit to the cave paintings and the Tomás Lakias fort.
  • Visit to the Rocks Valley, passing through Alota and San Cristóbal towns.
  • Private transfer to the lodging place, La Joya International Airport or any specific location in Uyuni requested by the client.
